Moeck Pentatonic Recorder "Flauto Penta"-55911010

These flutes are especially suitable for music lessons at school. The pentatonic scale, based on five tones, was used in ancient cultures and folk music. The scale intervals consist of different combinations of major 2nds and minor 3rds (like the black keys on a piano). Since there are no semi-tones and consequently no leading notes, every tone can be a starting, central or closing note. This the melodies have a floating character and form pleasant harmonies when combined with other notes. The pentatonic system is suitable for working with pre-school and primary school children as well as in music therapy.
